Hello,

We want to send SMS on critical events to users, and HTTP API is the most common way of integration for SMS service in my area mainly the cheaper option, is there any chance SMS via HTTP API can be achieved in wialon the soonest, please consider this is very important and reduced SMS cost.

now I am using GET and POST requests to send  SMS via constructed URL, but this is hectic and a new notification should be created for every event and for every user and sending SMS to multiple users at a time is impossible. Feedback from any one with similar experience is appreciated

Hello,
HTTP API  for SMS is not planned on wialon. Wialon software developed to work with the network modems and SMPP  gateways by SMPP API v.3.4 protocol, which is industry protocol. Technically most known SMS service providers organize their SMS HTTP API service based on the same SMPP API v.3.4 and normally the SMS cost equal both for the SMPP gateway and for SMS HTTP API for the equal billing plans, these are just two different methods of sending the SMS.
