#### Topic: Over Speeding Using the Speeding Table type

This only considers speeds that are repetitive and in succession.
This condition does not bring out the violation well.

please consider each speed above the set limit as a violation, let us not put conditions.

Clarify your proposal, please. If you have a real example with a problem, attach it here too.

#### Re: Over Speeding Using the Speeding Table type

The trip summary has many incisents of over speeding.
when you check the over speeding based on speedings table type(from advanced settings).some incidents are not recorded because of the condition in the attached document.

You didn't attach any documents. Please, try once more.

Seems, you speak about situation, when overspeeding is registered by 2 messages with speed over limit, isn't it?

#### Re: Over Speeding Using the Speeding Table type

yes,exactly.

one incident is enough.
the trip report contradicts the over speeding report because of this.

#### Re: Over Speeding Using the Speeding Table type

Thanks, it is clear enough now.

But I have one more question. How to count a duration of such speeding?
We have two variants now:
1. from the previous message to current message with the violation. as we suppose, the car started exceeding the speed before we get the message with the violation
2. don't calculate it. just sign as "--"

#### Re: Over Speeding Using the Speeding Table type

The existing method for Total time works well

#### Re: Over Speeding Using the Speeding Table type

The existing method works well because we always have two messages as minimum and can calculate the duration between them.

And if we change this we need to think of the new concept of calculation duration with just one message with a violation.

So we have some variants how to calculate the duration of the violation: one is shown on the screenshot, other variant is not to calculate it (--) and one more variant is to display 0:00:00 duration. What do you think?
