Bindings for tacho information by routes

Тема: Bindings for tacho information by routes

Hello,

Maybe someone can help with this or can Gurtam improve to have good data regarding the driver activity.

The problem is regarding the driver activity functionality. (http://prntscr.com/cd8t9w).

As I see the shown info (driving, rest...) is affected by assigned driver (binding) to truck so the data is not really correct.

'Driving' status is registered as driver's activity when either trip or stop have been detected for a unit.
'Work' status is registered when parking have been detected.
'Rest' status is registered upon unbinding a driver from such a unit

Like this, the driving times add REST + DRIVING status.

Any way to use this tool when client does not have the ibutton or will not do unbindings manually?

In my opinion, work status is not really useful for clients as they want to know mostly the driving times and the correct stops.

So, maybe it could be good just to have DRIVING status and REST status?

Thanks

hello, maybe you will find notifications unbinding useful in those cases? and same time - how the client is going to have driver data if he doesn't have i-button/dallas key reader/ whatever?

Bindings for tacho information by routes

Re: Bindings for tacho information by routes

Hello,

Normally the truck is driven by the same driver.

ibuttons in our case is rarely used and if they are, just for technical service or ambulances.

Notifications about unbiding are not useful then. do you imagine dispatcher biding and unbiding the trucks when they are always full of job with loads??

Thanks

Bindings for tacho information by routes

Re: Bindings for tacho information by routes

Hello!

Driver's activity information helps to control whether a driver follows the AETR standards or not.
So if customers doesn't need to control driver activity with AETR standards it's better to set up 'None' for driver activity
It's possible to sort units in the list with bound drivers, so you always can see which units with driver, so Driving, which without drivers, so drivers rest
The same sorting is possible on driver panel

Bindings for tacho information by routes

Re: Bindings for tacho information by routes

Hello chdi,

Thanks for explaining what was this tool for....

What I am trying to make is to have it useful for the majority of clients (those I mean do not have tacho sollution or ibutton options).

As i saw on other platforms how they solved it I thought it was good to share this with you to see if you want to improve it.

Thanks

Bindings for tacho information by routes

Re: Bindings for tacho information by routes

Hello,

Problem: This info : http://prntscr.com/ck9frz is useless unless you have the ibutton or tacho installed
solution: if you create an option to see this info by routes info it will be useful for the rest of the clients that did not installed the ibutton / tacho sollution

For what? this tool helps a lot dispatcher persons to assign the load to their trucks.

locationGPS, please try this: choose driver activity "By bindings" in unit properties (Advanced tab) and see if it helps.

Bindings for tacho information by routes

Re: Bindings for tacho information by routes

Hello LocationGPS,

What you think about use ignition and motion
Ignition ON +motion on vehicle=working
Ignition ON without motion= another working
Ignition OFF= Rest
I think that is possible to be done.
You are absolutely right that is not correct, but will be enough.

Geri
