Dear Wialon Users
I m new to Wialon & GPS Tracking Field. I m using now Prepay sims & they have become headache as i can not keep track of data usages.
I m using Ruptela devices. All of them.
Do anyone have idea if i want to make postpay package what should i ask to put data per month ?
Any idea if 20MB or 50MB or 100MB data should i ask GSM provider to set on post pay package ?

as you can configure ruptela hardware in a clever way not to send 24/7 data (using the movement sensor) i would recommend to configure the device as following:
- track by time every 60 seconds IN MOVE
- track by angle set to 15 degrees
- no track by distance
send data every 60 seconds IN MOVE
in NO MOVE
every 2 hours
no angle
no track by distance
if you have increment 1kb data (most importand in gps tracking) or even less you can calculate on 8 hours driving per day, 22 days per month round about 5MByte-7MByte Data per month. If you disable track by angle, even less.
We have customer using much less than 2 MByte per month.
