Topic: automatic Voice-Call software for Wialon with SIP VOIP
Hi dear Gurtam Partners,
maybe this is interesting for you:
as our customers requesting not only SMS alarm messages but want to receive in the night a phonecall from specific phonenumber (which can be programmed as a VIP number into most phones) we developed a little programm which does the following:
-Polls every xx Seconds a POP3 Mail account
-checks for a email with the content
"Name of WAV Soundfile"
and than use a predefined SIP VOIP Provider (we use www.voippro.com as they have extrem good prices and 1/1 second billing) to call the "Phonenumber".
If owner of "Phonenumber" hook up the phone it plays "Name of WAV Soundfile", waits for the owner to enter a digit (we use digit 5 as default) and if user enter digit 5 (not all VOIP Provider supports DTMF reading, take care!) it playes a second predefined WAV file.
How do we use this with WIALON now?
we generate new "alarm" messages by Email and send it to POP3 account and just add the Phonenumber and the WAV file to be played into the message.
Works simple and perfect and we are (at the moment) the only company here in our local market providing voice alarm calls without using some expensive US based services. (default voice call costs us between 2-3 eurocents)
Logfile is written with some status messages etc.
Software runs on Windows XP-Windows 7 and needs .Net 2.x
We thought to charge 250.-€ one time fee and you can use it as much as you want (on as much devices as you want). It just brings us back a little of our invest and we will invest the money back into the software for some enhancements what you need :-)
