New NimBus feature: import and export of data in GTFS format

Yesterday our latest update NimBus v. 1.8.0. came out. Together with the previous update it gave a lot of new possibilities to our users, and we are going to talk about it in this topic.
We are glad to present you import and export of data in GTFS format. Let's start with figuring out what GTFS is.

So this data specification allows public transit agencies to publish their transit data in the format that is compatible with a wide variety of software applications (schedule planners, maps, apps for the passengers).
Today, the GTFS data format is used by thousands of public transport providers.
So, how do we export NimBus data to GTFS format? A piece of cake! To export data to a GTFS file, click on the button  in the upper right corner of the Administration page. Fill in the necessary fields of the dialog, click "Export" — voilà! Download of the ZIP file containing all the data of the depot has started.

You can also import stops, routes, schedules, and operation patterns from a GTFS file to the account. To do this, click on the button  in the upper right corner of the Administration page and select the file (the size must not exceed 10 MB) that contains the data you want to import.

In the next steps, select the stops, routes, and operation patterns you want to import.

Finally, let's take a look at the possibilities that import and export of data in this format gives to our users:
- Start using NimBus easily. For a new project just import your existing data in the GTFS format. It will reduce the time you'll spend on setting the depot;
- Integrate with other systems. Export the data you created in NimBus and use them for what you need;
- Backup your data. Create a spare copy of all the data in your depot;
- Transfer data between different accounts. Move the necessary data to another depot.
