Using Service interval and/or Notifications for prepaid SIMs track

Topic: Using Service interval and/or Notifications for prepaid SIMs track

HI There

I hope you in perfect health.
I'm using Prepaid SIMs in my units and we track the expiry date of these SIMs manually to extend it, how could we resolve these issue by wialon local capabilities.

using 'service interval' to track the prepaid sims recharge process depending on known Sim expiry Date.

How to set the system to notify us for SIM cards recharge before its expire date by 15 days at least. is it done by  'service interval', 'Notifications' or both. And how to modify the SIMs expiry date record  automatically depending on the recharged balance  in local currency.

as a following:

Recharge balance 5 LYD ----> (Expiry Date) + 50 Days
Recharge balance 10 LYD ----> (Expiry Date) + 100 Days
Recharge balance 15 LYD ----> (Expiry Date) + 150 Days
Recharge balance 15 LYD ----> (Expiry Date) + 180 Days

best regards

Using Service interval and/or Notifications for prepaid SIMs track

Re: Using Service interval and/or Notifications for prepaid SIMs track

Mohammed, yes, you can manage it with Service intervals. First you need to create service interval for SIM in days in unit properties https://docs.wialon.com/en/local/cms/units/maint
Then you can control this interval with notification 'Maintenance', set there 15 days on 'Service term approach' https://docs.wialon.com/en/local/user/n … aintenance

Days change depending on balance can be done manually, there is no standard functionality for automatic change. But you can try to manage via API with custom development https://docs.wialon.com/en/local/sdk/sdk
