import .dpf or .ttd files using Wialon

Topic: import .dpf or .ttd files using Wialon

Hello,

Could you please think about the possibility for uploading .dpf or .ttd files directly from the import/export menu of Wialon?
These files are saved through working programs for calibration tables such as Service DUT (Technoton), LLS Monitor (omnicom) and etc..

The goal here is to facilitate the work of the process for filling the calculation table wizard manually. When the technical expert finishes his work with the calibration of the fuel tank, he is sending the calibration table to the office. Dispatcher is manually filling all the data from the table and losing time for this.

import .dpf or .ttd files using Wialon

Re: import .dpf or .ttd files using Wialon

ogich , this implementation can be interesting, but with some specifics
in *.td5 file there is only one column with data, so we don't have enough information to divide it into two columns.
*.ttd looks like appropriate format, but also have undue symbols in the beginning of the document.
*.td5 - is some rare difficult format...

I've discussed this theme with some clients and they agreed, that this is a good idea, but they are more interesting in *.txt or maybe *.csv format.

In general, the most important thing, that this file should have two columns divided by some symbols (space or comma or tabulation) and rows divided by line brake. Such file we can import in XY table.

Do you think this can be helpful?

Re: import .dpf or .ttd files using Wialon

Hello tata,

Yes! If you are able to create import/export function with *.csv format will be very helpful. There is a way to convert .ttd and .dpf to .csv, so this method will be useful.
