Resetting Notification Trigger counts

Тема: Resetting Notification Trigger counts

It appears that there is no way to reset the trigger count. Currently the only means is to delete and create the notification again with the same settings. This is not very smart.
Would the API developers please provide such a feature? How long does it take for this feature  to come into effect?

Thanks

Resetting Notification Trigger counts

Re: Resetting Notification Trigger counts

I'm a new Wialon user and I'm posting this 7 years after the original user's post regarding Activations Counter for Notifications.

I too would like to reset the Activity Counters for Notifications.
One of the use-cases I have in mind is to monitor the number of notifications triggered by specific units, for specific same events... and then compare
how many times each unit triggred that event.   And so, I want to be able to Reset the Activity Counters.

Anyhow, already I have certain activations that have occured hundreds of times. And soon the column will have to expand to show 1,000's ?  And so forth.  I don't want to keep copying, deleting, and restoring the notifications.

Re: Resetting Notification Trigger counts

techsupport I may suggest to always enable option Register event for unit in the properties of the notifications. Not only it helps to run reports on the historic events or troubleshoot notifications, it also may solve your task.
Once events are registered, you can run a relevant report — Events. In this report you can add Counter column and apply some grouping for a better output. Specific events can be filtered in the report by text mask, if you add some specific words into the notification text.
Below is my example:
